Supervisory Board

Responsibilities

to supervise the Management Board and propose its dismissal in the event of irregularities;

to recommend improvements to the Center’s work plan drafted by the director and approved by the Management Board;

to approve the annual budget and the final account for the previous year;

to approve the report on the Center’s work prepared by the Director, which the Supervisory Board may submit to an independent institution for assessment;

to propose increases or reductions in the Center’s founding capital.

Participating countries oversee the work of the CEF through the Supervisory Board, which meets once a year to set guidelines for activities of the CEF, adopts a business plan and a program for the forthcoming year, and approves the annual report with financial accounts for the previous year.

Members of the Supervisory Board are ministers of finance or their nominated representatives, and governors of central banks or their nominated representatives.

The CEF Supervisory Board met at its 11th session on June 24 2011, in Slovenia, Ljubljana, Grand Hotel Union.

The 12th annual meeting of CEF Supervisory Board was organized as a virtual session.

At the 2012 session, the Supervisory Board:

Approved the CEF 2011 Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2011.
Endorsed the CEF workshops and seminars schedule planned for 2013.
Took note of the progress in changing the status of the CEF and supported a timely conclusion of the process.
Assented to the report of the Management Board.
Assented to the report of the Advisory Board.
