The CEF and Slovak Ministry of Finance Successfully Cooperate in Development Projects in SEE
The deputy director of the Center for Excellence in Finance, Jana Repanšek and staff met with Viktoria Mlynarcikova, representative of the Ministry of finance of the Slovak Republic. Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic and the CEF currently successfully cooperate in the Public Accountants Certification Training (PACT) project in Montenegro.
Slovak Ministry of Finance provides funding of the PACT project through UNDP Partnership for Results in the International Development Cooperation, Public Finance for Development Program. PACT in Montenegro will enable training of up to 40 public sector accountants in 2016. It has officially started with project opening event on April 18, 2016 in Podgorica.
Further to successful cooperation in the training of Montenegrin public accountants we exchanged information on our additional efforts in the area of development cooperation. At the meeting we explored possibilities to extend mutual cooperation. We plan to continue with regular contacts and strategic approaches towards joint impact for improved public finance management in South East Europe.
