2021 Annual Report Published
With the release of our 2021 Annual Report, we are honored to share a detailed overview of work completed over the past year. The report also showcases how we have progressed in our vision to inspire public officials to shape institutional governance that drives successful economies and fair societies.
In 2021 we continued to play a key role in supporting our constituency in learning and knowledge sharing spanning across five thematic areas: public financial management, tax policy and administration, central banking, data and analysis for designing policies, and leadership for managing reforms. We successfully developed, designed, and delivered 98 learning and knowledge sharing activities, attended by 2,938 participants from across the SEE region and beyond. While most events were still delivered online, we also invested in technologies to support events in a hybrid format. This provided access to learning also to those unable to join us in person.
A significant part of our work in 2021 focused also on developing our own methodology to support public institutions in becoming and being learning organizations. This methodology consists of six building blocks and reflects our value-added in promoting lifelong learning and knowledge sharing within and across public institutions.
While we are pleased with the results achieved in the past year, we are already looking ahead to turn our strategic direction until 2026 into concrete and measurable actions. “We continue to have ambitious plans to further develop in our role as a globally recognized knowledge hub. As we implement our strategy, we will continue to broaden our community and connect people to learn. Our region is rich with vibrant cultures and people that have amazing talents. It is on all of us to leverage from this, seize the opportunities, and create ones ourselves.” says CEF Director Jana Repanšek.
