Exploring Critical and Strategic Thinking
About this learning event
By attending this workshop, participants will learn about two problem solving methodologies: critical thinking and strategic thinking. Critical thinking involves applying logic and assessing illogical statements, beliefs, data, or information. It focuses on conceptualizing and evaluating information that guides our thoughts, ideas, and actions, and is generated from observations and communication. Participants will learn to ask concise, objective questions that challenge traditional modes of thought. Strategic thinking enables individuals to use critical thinking to solve complex problems and prepare plans.
