CEF Director Ms. Dobovišek stressed at the signing ceremony that the CEF is very pleased about Moldova actively participating in the Center’s Strategic Planning and Budgeting (SPB) project, and is convinced that the SPB activities will strengthen Moldova’s capacities in designing and implementing macrofiscal frameworks. She added that the CEF hopes to upgrade cooperation with Moldova also in the field of certification programs for public sector accountants. The CEF looks forward to an opportunity for Moldovan experts to start sharing, via the CEF, their experience in reforming public financial management with the region.

The agreement will enter into force once at least three countries deposit their instruments of ratification, and a headquarters agreement between the CEF and the Republic of Slovenia is concluded.
