Romanian Ambassador in Slovenia Visited CEF
Mira DoboviĊĦek, CEF Director and staff met with H.E. Anton Niculescu, Romanian Ambassador in Slovenia and Carmen Florea, Deputy Head of Mission. Both sides acknowledged importance of mutual cooperation through the CEF Governing Board and discussed opportunities for Romanian contribution to the implementation of the CEF program.
Romania is a member of the CEF constituency and among the countries that signed and ratified the Agreement on Establishing the Center of Excellence in Finance as an international organization. Romanian Ambassador recognized the CEF`s role of a knowledge sharing platform for public financial management, tax administration and central banking professionals of South East Europe. Both parties agreed that inclusion of regional expertise is important for the CEF. In this context we will consider opportunities for extended cooperation in the future.
