Study Visit: Exchange of Experiences related to the Austrian and Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU
In co-operation with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance and Slovak Ministry of Finance we are facilitating a study visit whereby officials from the Slovenian Ministry of Finance will learn about the experience and lessons learnt regarding the Austrian and Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU. Slovenia will take over the Presidency in the second half of 2021.
The CEF is supporting the Slovenian Ministry of Finance in developing their knowledge-sharing capabilities and is in this regard happy to facilitate a study visit to Vienna and Bratislava. On the occasion Slovenian officials will be learning from the Austrian and Slovak counterparts how they have dealt with organizational, staffing, financial and communications challenges of the EU Presidency in the preparatory as well as the implementation stage. The study visit will take place on September 19-20, 2019 and is being organized as part of the Slovenia’s efforts in getting ready to take over the Presidency of EU Council in the second half of 2021.
