About this learning event

Participants will learn how to set the appropriate KPIs for different policies and reforms in order to monitor their implementation. We will tackle this through four aspects. First, identification of possible indicators (data sources and access to them, statistical concepts and methodology behind data, managing of a database); secondly, assessment of identified indicators (basic data analysis, management, quality properties, and relevance); thirdly, selection of the appropriate performance indicators; and finally, presentation of indicators to decision-makers. All aspects will be presented as a mixture of theoretical presentations and practical exercises, where participants will be challenged with setting the right performance indicators for reforms of different sectors or areas of countries' Economic Reform Programs.

Workshop will contain several country presentations on the practical examples, while participants will be included in discussing and comparing their experience in setting KPIs. We will also surface the most frequent challenges that participants are facing in their work and try to exchange ideas on how to cope with them through peer learning approach.

This event includes an after workshop webinar on November 8, 2022, where participants will in addition exchange good practices in setting KPIs.
