Practicing Feedback and Meta-communication at the National Bank of Moldova
About this learning event
This interactive workshop is designed to strengthen participants’ skills in giving and receiving feedback, as well as navigating difficult conversations with clarity and confidence. Building on the bank’s microlearning week that takes place in advance, the session focuses on practice over theory, using realistic workplace scenarios to explore what effective, constructive feedback looks and feels like. Participants will engage in structured exercises to apply the SBI (Situation-Behavior-Impact) framework, experiment with giving feedback in sensitive contexts, and refine their ability to ask clarifying questions when instructions or expectations are unclear.
Throughout the session, the emphasis is on creating a psychologically safe environment for exploration, reflection, and growth. The workshop supports a shift in organizational culture - encouraging open communication, shared accountability, and a mindset of continuous learning.
The learning objectives include:
- Understand the core principles of effective, constructive feedback
- Apply the SBI (Situation–Behavior–Impact) model to real-life feedback scenarios
- Practice giving feedback in both everyday and sensitive situations
- Strengthen the ability to ask clarifying questions when tasks are being delegated
- Build greater confidence in initiating honest, respectful conversations at work
- Support a culture of trust, curiosity, and continuous improvement across teams
Activities will be facilitated together with an internal team of trainers, ensuring a focused and productive environment.
Target audience
This is an internal event designed for the entire team of the National Bank of Moldova.
