CEF Blog Season End: Editor’s Cut

July 8, 2025 by Urška Miklič

As we wrap up the first part of the 2025 CEF blog season, it’s clear: this year’s stories were quite remarkable. With each blog, our authors invited us into their world, where learning feels like an open script, and change in the public sector is as much about connection as it is about content.

This season, we tuned into the unspoken dynamics of our workplaces, sometimes even through the lens of a furry four-pawed colleague. We explored what happens when coaching sparks something deeper, when mentoring becomes more than advice, and when writing becomes a tool for both reflection and change.

Our blog featured personal accounts of the many stages of the self, policy secnarios through platforms like WeWrite, and thoughtful pieces that bridged science and society, advancing knowledge exchange and learning across institutions. From rethinking leadership in civil service to building stronger and more sustainable financial systems, each contribution offered a unique scene in this unfolding narrative.

Twelve voices brought these themes to life-sharing stories that made us pause, laugh, rethink, and connect. We give standing ovation to our brilliant authors for turning everyday practice into thought-provoking storytelling.

We'll be back in autumn with more stories, ideas, and perspectives from across our learning community. Until then, may your summer be full of fresh thoughts, new experiences, and maybe a moment or two of quiet inspiration.
