About this learning event

This one day workshop represents a continuation of CEF efforts to support assessing economic and fiscal impact of reforms under Economic Reform Program (ERP) and Reform Agenda (RA). The workshop will focus on economic and fiscal impact assessment of priority reforms covering three broad reform pillars:

  • Digital, Energy and Green Transition, including digital infrastructure and cybersecurity, clean energy and renewables, climate and energy actions under the NECP, and energy efficiency and buildings;
  • Private Sector Development and Business Environment, encompassing investment and FDI promotion, support to start-ups and MSMEs, industrial and export development, insolvency and bankruptcy reform, governance of public-owned enterprises, intelligent transport systems, and access to finance and financial inclusion; and
  • Human Capital Development and Labour Markets, addressing digitalisation of education, early childhood education, labour market activation of women, youth and vulnerable groups, and stronger alignment of education and VET systems with labour market needs. The workshop aims to support a more robust Chapter 5A of the ERP by expanding impact assessments across these reform areas in close cooperation with the Macro Unit and relevant line ministries.
