Exams in Financial Accounting Under the PACT Program in Montenegro and Serbia
The examinations in the Financial Accounting module under the Public Accountants Certification Training (PACT) program took place in Podgorica, Montenegro and Belgrade, Serbia on June 6, 2017. In total, over 50 students from the two countries took the two-hour exam, which followed the standard international format developed by the Chartered Institute for Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
The PACT programs in Montenegro and Serbia are delivered by qualified regional experts to public sector accountants who represent a wide spectrum of government bodies: municipalities, central government ministries, state agencies and other public institutions. The programs support the national authorities in their important mission of developing the public sector accounting profession.
The PACT programs in Montenegro and Serbia are funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Slovenian Development Cooperation (SDC), with in-kind contribution of the respective Ministries of Finance and the CEF.
