Macedonian Internal Auditors Awarded With International Certificates

Macedonian internal auditors from public sector were awarded with Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA)​ certificates at the end of successful TIAPS training supported by USAID Macedonia​ and Slovenia`s Development Cooperation. The CEF that is implementing partner in the project was represented by CEF Director, Mira Dobovišek and the team. Macedonian Minister of Finance Kiril Minoski attended the event and recognized its importance for Macedonia.

The goal of the Training of Internal Auditors in Public Sector (TIAPS) project is to train and certify public sector internal auditors in line with international standards and European Union regulations and improve the quality of public internal auditing in Macedonia. As a result of these initiatives, 83 internal auditors from Macedonian public sector have been certified to date. The training follows curricla developed by the Chartered Institute for Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) that also awards international certificates and diplomas to successful attendees.
