Meeting of the CEF Coordinators
Meeting of our coordinators, representatives of ministries of finance, central banks and tax administrations from South East Europe that are involved in the strategic management of human capital within their respective institutions ended on a successful note. The meeting took place on May 9 to 11, 2018 at the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia. With the Coordinators we reflected on training needs and priorities of the participating institutions and on strengthening our cooperation.
Particular focus of the event was on human resource strategies, in particular talent management. Special emphasis was given how to transform institutions into learning organizations—knowledge hubs. Knowledge hubs are institutions that capture, package and share knowledge with national and international partners in order to accelerate development.
The meeting started with a seminar on human resource management. We also discussed constituent institutions’ training needs, how the role of the CEF Coordinator contributes to the strategic capacity development of respective institution and its staff, and how to reinforce cooperation with the Coordinators to empower their strategic role in CEF governance.
