Workshop: May 9, 2018IInvitation onlyICentral Banking, Leadership for Managing Reforms

The aim of this seminar was to strengthen the awareness of strategic function of human resource management and its further potentials to support institutional operations. It served as an input for further discussions of CEF Coordinators Meeting on how the constituent institutions could establish their own knowledge hub capacities.

This seminar addressed the role of human resource management (HRM) in CEF constituent institutions. The participants and experts discussed the challenges and shared practices of strategic development of employees and their skills, and using the potential to share the knowledge across the institution, as well as beyond. We touched upon management of changes, staffing policies, challenges in retaining employees, fostering a collegial environment for interdepartmental collaboration and a culture of effective communication.

Main topics of discussion: (i) HRM as a business partner (transition from administrative function) (ii) talent management, and (iii) HRM role in facilitation knowledge exchange.

Target audience
