PAR and PFM Reforms: Training need assessment for the AFCOS network MNE

Jun 2, 2025 Podgorica, Montenegro No Fee

About this learning event

This workshop will bring together members of Montenegro’s Anti-Fraud Coordination Structure (AFCOS) network from Montenegro to discuss the findings of a recently conducted Training Needs Assessment (TNA). The event will provide a space for open and constructive dialogue on current capacity gaps, emerging priorities, and future learning directions related to the prevention, detection, and reporting of fraud affecting the financial interests of the EU.

By actively engaging representatives from key AFCOS institutions, the workshop aims to ensure a shared understanding of institutional and individual learning needs, as well as practical solutions for addressing them. Participants will work collaboratively to finalize the AFCOS Training Catalogue, a practical tool that will set out priority learning areas, preferred training formats, and an indicative timeline for implementation.

The event will support a more structured and strategic approach to capacity development in the anti-fraud field, in line with EU expectations and national reform goals. It will also reinforce coordination within the AFCOS network and strengthen its ability to respond effectively to the challenges of protecting the EU’s financial interests.
