Study Visit of Georgian Public Sector Internal Auditors to Slovenia (by invitation only)
Georgian Public Sector Internal Auditors will visit the CEF within the current Pre-TIAPS project, to discuss the training materials of the future certification project on Training of Internal Auditors of the Public Sector, planned to launch in Georgia in the first half of 2020
Georgian Public Sector Internal Auditors will visit the CEF within the current Pre-TIAPS project, running in Georgia. During the visit, they will discuss and learn more about the three international modules, namely Governance and Control, Internal Audit Fundamentals, and Public Sector Accounting and Financial Reporting. The delegation has already had ToTs on these modules in Georgia. On this visit they will come equipped with their questions regarding the materials and any other open issues related to the certification of internal auditors. One of the sessions will also be devoted to the discussion and preparation for the potential examination of the tutors in Georgia, should certification become obligatory for all future tutors.
The study visit also includes an introductory tour to the Court of Audit of Slovenia, where the delegation will become acquainted with the daily activities and the organizational structure of their peers.
