The CEF Strengthened by Five New Staff from Across South East Europe and Ukraine

With several colleagues about to go on leave and new exciting initiatives ahead of us, we have been joined in the last quarter by five new staff members who will help ensure continued quality delivery of our learning program and further strengthen the CEF team.

Our new colleagues further enrich our dynamic team by bringing rich first-hand experience in the design, delivery and facilitation of learning initiatives, as well as native knowledge of the languages from the region.

They will be involved in the design and delivery of our programs on Tax Policy & Administration and Public Financial Management, and further strengthen our capacities to manage events and provide certification programs.

In doing so, our colleagues will contribute in a wide range of areas including medium-term and program budgeting, programming of EU funds, reforming customs administrations, promoting financial management and control, carrying out PEFA assessments, working with CEF partners and donors on other initiatives, ensuring effective event management, enabling collaborative learning of public officials, etc.

In the initial weeks after joining the CEF team, they have already participated in several initial visits to institutions across the region, helped co-facilitate the delivery of the first workshops and webinars of the year, and encouraged us to try out new solutions and ideas to strengthen our role as regional knowledge hub.

We welcome Tara Vasiljević and Dijana Mitrović from Serbia, Ivana Angelova from Macedonia, Julija Kocbek from Ukraine, and Nihad Nakaš from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
