We entered the competition with the first joint CEF-CIPFA conference titled Supporting Accounting and Auditing Developments and Synergies organized in Skopje, North Macedonia, in 2021. Organized as a hybrid event, it served as a platform for exchanging expert knowledge, experience, best practices, and recommendations to public sector accountants and auditors, both regionally and globally.  It highlighted the shared challenges and issues that public finance professionals experience in their field of work. The conference program featured a range of high-profile public finance experts from various multi-lateral and international organizations, academic institutions, and government ministries.

The cooperation between CEF and CIPFA proves to be very strong and successful.  We look forward to continuing this successful cooperation also in 2023 at our third consecutive conference to be held in Kosovo.

The  Association Excellence Awards 2022 ceremony took place on October 14, 2022 in London.
