About this learning event

This highly practical on-the-job training workshop will bring together internal auditors from various public sector institutions in Montenegro, providing a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, peer learning, and hands-on skills development.

The program will focus on practical internal audit methodologies, institution-specific approaches, and the analysis of specific audit cases and scenarios, enabling participants to strengthen their ability to address real challenges encountered in public sector auditing. It is designed to enhance the capacities of public sector internal auditors to deliver services in line with the new Global Internal Audit Standards.

Through expert-led presentations, structured discussions, case studies, and group assignments, participants will gain practical knowledge of the full internal audit cycle, including audit methodologies, advisory services, performance auditing, quality assurance, and the development of institution-specific methodologies and guidelines.

This on-the-job training is tailored for public sector internal auditors in Montenegro, with priority given to those who are already certified.
