About this learning event

Auditing within the Reform and Growth Facility (RGF) context has raised numerous questions about the appropriate approach and has increased pressure on internal audit units due to the intensity and importance of these activities. Since payments are directly linked to audit reports, the quality and accuracy of planning and conducting RGF-related audits are essential.

This blended learning initiative, jointly designed by the CEF and the Central Harmonization Unit (CHU) of the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro, aims to strengthen the capacities of internal audit units to effectively plan and carry out audit activities related to the RGF.

The initiative consists of two parts:

  • Webinar

The webinar will introduce the core elements of the RGF and clarify the role of auditing within it. Participants will explore what RGF represents and why the Reform Agenda audit is important for public sector accountability, how audit planning aligns with international standards, how to map audit engagements within the RGF, and what are the key steps required to prepare and plan Refrom Agenda related audits.

  • Two Day Practical Workshop

The workshop will focus on the practical aspects of planning, executing, and reporting on audit engagements related to the Montenegro's Reform Agenda activities, enabling participants to apply concepts from the webinar in a hands on environment.

Who should attend

  • Internal auditors working within public institutions involved in auditing the Reform Agenda of Montenegro
  • Representatives of the CHU of the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro.
