Auditing of Structural Reforms within RGF - Montenegro
About this learning event
Auditing within the RGF context has raised numerous questions about the appropriate approach and has increased pressure on internal audit units due to the intensity and importance of these activities. Since payments are directly linked to audit reports, the quality and accuracy of planning and conducting RGF related audits are essential.
This blended learning initiative, jointly designed by the CEF and CHU Montenegro, aims to strengthen the capacities of internal audit units to effectively plan and carry out audit activities related to the Reform and Growth Facility (RGF).
The initiative consists of two parts:
1. Webinar: Planning Audits within the RGF
The webinar will introduce the core elements of the Reform Governance Framework (RGF) and clarify the role of auditing within it. Participants will explore what RGF represents, how it applies in the Montenegrin context, why it is important for public sector accountability, how audit planning aligns with international standards, how to map audit engagements within the RGF, and the key steps required to prepare and plan RGF related audits.
2. Two Day Practical Workshop
The workshop will focus on the practical aspects of planning, executing, and reporting on audit engagements related to reform agenda activities, enabling participants to apply concepts from the webinar in a hands on environment.
