WeLearn: Innovations and Service Delivery
About this learning event
This learning event equips public sector professionals with the mindset, tools, and confidence to drive meaningful innovation in their own institutions. Participants will explore what innovation truly looks like in government settings, learn from proven models and international best practices, and understand how policy reforms and organizational capacities can unlock better services and stronger economic outcomes.
Through a blend of e‑learning, interactive webinars, and hands‑on exercises, they will practice collaborative problem‑solving methods, identify opportunities within their own work, and shape a concrete improvement idea. By the end, participants will not only grasp the value and purpose of public sector innovation - they will be ready to communicate their ideas clearly and take the first steps toward creating real public value.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Explain the purpose and value of innovation in the public sector
- Identify common barriers and enablers of innovation in public organizations
- Reflect on their own role and agency within innovation systems
- Translate innovation concepts into a concrete, feasible improvement idea
- Communicate their idea clearly through a concise one-minute pitch
