CEF Director Ms. Repanšek Meets Governor Žugić
On February 21, 2022, Mr. Radoje Žugić, Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), hosted Ms. Jana Repanšek, Director of the CEF, in Podgorica. The parties restated their commitments to the active partnership as a part of the Montenegrin membership in the CEF. They also mutually highlighted the longstanding and very successful cooperation of the two institutions in the area of capacity development of central banks and their officials.
The parties agreed to promote this partnership in the form of experts exchange and hosting of one CEF’s learning event by the CBCG in Montenegro. The CBCG also strongly supports CEF's increased attention in the area of banking regulation and supervision. The partners will identify further steps and initiate the efforts needed to implement agreed-on joint activities. Both parties have a firm belief in the positive outcomes following such a well-founded commitment.
