PACT Programs in Montenegro and Serbia Show Excellent Results
The Public Accountants Certification Training (PACT) programs that the CEF is implementing in Montenegro and Serbia are showing promising results. The results of the last examination that the students took in December—Management Accounting—were extremely encouraging as the pass rate reached more than 80 percent.
The training program for the first level to receive the internationally recognized certificate from the Chartered Institute for Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) have already finished in Serbia. In Montenegro, students will conclude the last module with the examination in March next year.
The PACT programs in Montenegro and Serbia are delivered by qualified regional experts to public sector accountants who represent a wide spectrum of government bodies: municipalities, central government ministries, state agencies and other public institutions. The programs support the national authorities in their important mission of developing the public sector accounting profession.
