We were pleased to welcome Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, Minister of Finance of the Republic of North Macedonia and current Chair of the CEF Governing Board, to the CEF for a working visit focused on strengthening cooperation and discussing shared priorities.

The visit reaffirmed the strong partnership between the CEF and the Ministry of Finance of North Macedonia and provided an opportunity for focused discussions in the context of North Macedonia’s EU accession process and preparations for the upcoming annual meeting of the CEF Governing Board, which will take place in Skopje.

During the visit, Minister Dimitrieska-Kochoska met with the CEF Steering Team, led by Director Jana Repanšek. The discussions focused on shared priorities in public financial management, capacity development needs across the Ministry and wider institutions in North Macedonia, and the Governing Board’s role in positioning the CEF in an evolving international development landscape.

The Minister also met with Mateja Vraničar Erman, Chair of the CEF Advisory Board, for an exchange on the CEF’s strategic direction and its continued regional role.

The visit offered a valuable opportunity to deepen dialogue, strengthen collaboration, and build further on the close and trusted partnership between the CEF and North Macedonia.
