About this learning event

This on-the-job training will support public-sector internal auditors in strengthening their approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement. The training will focus on the practical application of internal quality assurance, helping participants move beyond a compliance-oriented approach towards a more meaningful assessment and improvement of audit quality. 

Participants will explore the distinction between quality control and quality assurance, practical approaches to ongoing monitoring and self-assessment, and the role of audit recommendations in improving the value and impact of internal audit. Through practical exercises and exchange of experience, the training will provide participants with tools they can apply directly within their internal audit functions.
