PACT MKD3 (L2): Audit and Assurance (By Invitation)

This learning initiative is part of the Public Accountants Certification Training (PACT) on Diploma level. It is first out of four international modules, developed by Charter Institute of Public Finances and Accountancy (CIPFA). Public sector accountants from North Macedonia will attend Diploma program from spring 2022 until autumn 2023, and all modules, including this one, will be translated and delivered in Macedonian language.

 About this certification module

Audit and Assurance (AA) module provides an introduction to the role of assurance in modern governance and accountability frameworks, with a more specific focus on the roles of and the techniques used by auditors. This is a crucial element of the stewardship role that finance professionals perform in modern organisations, and is also relevant to the roles of enabler and innovator and business partner.

Syllabus of the module includes following topics:

  •      Audit environment    
  •      Risk assessment and planning    
  •      Audit testing    
  •      Audit evidence    
  •      Audit finalisation procedures    
  •      Internal audit

Delivery format

This certification module will be delivered as blended learning course. Through CEF Online Leaning Campus, webinar and in-class lectures, participants will have opportunity to learn about the best practices of audit and assurance in public sector, share experiences with colleagues and prepare for the examination. 

Who should attend?

This initiative is By Invitation only. It is designed for public sector accountants in North Macedonia, that have passed all exams and concluded PACT program on certificate level.
