Role of Communication in Reform Processes

Oct 17 – 27, 2023 Online No Fee

About this learning event

We will look into how line ministries can effectively communicate internally and externally. We will explore how line ministries can strengthen their messages to support the changes and reforms that they advocate linked with the strategic planning of the measures. We will explore communication strategies, including tools and channels that they can use to engage their employees and improve communication and coordination with external stakeholders, such as finance and line ministries and other stakeholders, like the civil society, businesses and universities.

During this online course, you will:

  • Explore how to develop the key elements of a programme of communications in support of a economic reform programme
  • Discuss how to communicate reform ideas through instruments like social media and social networks
  • Have an opportunity to improve personal presentation skills and prepare for an “elevator pitch presentation”
  • Understand what are the key elements of a powerful public campaign
