About this learning event

This online course will address the importance of aligning the budget planning and Economic Reform Programme (ERP) preparation processes. We will examine the role of fiscal rules, and explore how to achieve balance between these rules and the reform needs, etc.

The course will also address the differences between legally-mandated, relatively fixed and variable expenditures in fiscal frameworks, and the integration of structural reforms from the ERP into program budgets. Through practical examples we will review reforms’ relevance and their potential implications for fiscal frameworks.
