About this learning event

The workshop brings together event management and facilitation as complementary skills for designing and delivering effective learning events. It combines practical experience from the CEF with core facilitation principles and uses a real event case as the basis for hands-on application. Participants will work through key stages of event preparation, from defining the purpose and desired outcomes to designing the programme, participant experience, roles, and implementation process.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have:

  • Gained an understanding of the CEF approach to event management and the integration of event management and facilitation.
  • Become familiar with the core competencies of effective facilitation.
  • Defined the purpose, desired outcomes, and success criteria for a stakeholder event.
  • Identified key stakeholders and considered appropriate messages and engagement approaches.
  • Developed a coherent event scenario, including session formats, working methods, and participant arrangements.
  • Clarified roles and responsibilities and developed a practical implementation plan, including key milestones and preparation steps.

This workshop is designed for the employees of the Public Finance Academy in North Macedonia.
