Knowledge in Action: Study Visit on Learning and Culture
About this learning event
This study visit is organized in support of member institutions in evolving into adaptive learning organizations. Hosted by Banque de France, it will focus on peer-to-peer knowledge exchange around strategic HR practices. Designed for HR professionals, the program will explore how to build resilient, future-ready institutions through effective talent management, organizational culture, and workforce development.
Participants will dive into Banque de France’s approach to structuring jobs around skills, including detailed skill dictionaries, job descriptions, and their integration into professional development plans. The visit will also cover performance appraisal systems, feedback culture, and initiatives that enhance employee well-being—addressing workload, autonomy, career progression, and support for vulnerable staff.
Further sessions will highlight the governance of training through Banque de France University, internal training programs (including inclusion and onboarding), and strategies for knowledge sharing. The agenda also includes insights into employer branding, recruitment challenges, and internal mobility—offering HR professionals a comprehensive view of how to attract, develop, and retain talent in a continuously evolving environment.
