Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS)
About this learning event
This annual workshop will provide an in-depth exploration of the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) package—an internationally coordinated set of measures developed to combat tax avoidance by multinational enterprises.
This year’s edition will place a particular emphasis on transfer pricing, with a detailed examination of BEPS Actions 8–10 and 13. These actions address the alignment of transfer pricing outcomes with value creation, the treatment of intangibles, risk allocation, and the implementation of country-by-country reporting.
Participants—especially policymakers and tax administrators—will gain a comprehensive understanding of the evolving transfer pricing standards and their practical implementation. The workshop will also cover recent global developments in the broader BEPS agenda, including updates on the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework, Pillar One and Pillar Two, and the implications for domestic legislation and international cooperation.
The workshop is developed in close partnership with the OECD and will feature expert-led sessions, case studies, and interactive discussions to support effective policy design and implementation with experts from the Financial Directorate of the Slovak Republic and the World Bank.
