Using financial information for better decision making in the times of crisis.

The webinar will be delivered with the objective of identifying challenges caused by COVID19 and solutions for overcoming them by using financial accounting knowledge and information. It will be built upon financial accounting module content and underline the role of accountancy profession in responding to information needs in public sector caused by COVID19.

The webinar will be focusing on following key areas:

  • Ensuring proactive controls are available – exploring the value of reconciliations and controls over financial information.
  • Being accountable for the resource usage – preparing clear and complete records and statements of activities for internal and external scrutiny.
  • Understanding how to match the information in order that assessments of relevant activity can be made.
  • Understanding asset valuation and recording of payments and receipts.
