Study Visit – PFA of North Macedonia: Learning from the Experience of the PFA of Georgia
About this learning event
The study visit is organized to facilitate peer learning and knowledge exchange between the Public Finance Academy of North Macedonia and the Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. Through presentations, practical demonstrations, and discussions, attendees will explore the Georgian Academy's experience in designing, managing, and continuously improving public sector learning and professional development systems.
Objectives of the Study Visit
- Gain a deeper understanding of the institutional framework, governance model, and strategic development of the Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
- Learn about training needs assessment methodologies, curriculum design processes, and training management practices applied by the Georgian Academy.
- Explore quality assurance mechanisms, monitoring and evaluation approaches, and lessons learned in the implementation of learning programs.
- Observe the practical use of the Learning Management System (LMS) and discuss digital solutions that support learning delivery and administration.
- Exchange experiences on trainer development, cooperation with experts, innovative learning methods, and institutional knowledge management.
- Identify good practices and potential areas for future cooperation between the two institutions.
