About this learning event

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of what constitutes a learning organization, including its characteristics, disciplines, and benefits, particularly in the public sector. They will explore why and how the CEF and other public institutions function as learning organizations and identify similar activities practiced at their institutions. Additionally, they will brainstorm ways to further develop these practices. We will focus on the importance of systematic learning, knowledge sharing, and effective communication within learning organizations.

Participants will review current practices at their institutions and discuss their impact on the organization's ability to deliver on its mandate. This includes learning at individual, team, and organizational levels, as well as understanding best practices in capturing, sharing, and using knowledge. They will also explore challenges in fostering learning and knowledge sharing culture and discuss possible strategies to overcome these challenges.

At the end of the workshop, we will hold a Reflection Summit to look back on our WeLead journey, sharing experiences and lessons learned from the 2025–2026 program cycle. This will be an opportunity to reflect on the insights gained, discuss future directions, and strengthen our network.
