Training of Trainers: Learning Methodologies and Tools

About this learning event

This training of trainers aims to empower the individual’s performance by strengthening their abilities to present and manage learning and knowledge sharing activities face-to-face or online in their respective teams and organizations. Participants will explore different learning methods and tools, and learn how to design and facilitate dynamic and engaging learning activities. They will get to know different learning styles, acknowledge their specifics, learn about the principles of effective public speaking, and practice delivering a powerful presentation. 

In a safe and motivating learning environment participants will be encouraged to reflect on what is their role as a learning facilitator, identify their strengths, and recognize areas for improvement. This experience will help public officials to consider themselves as confident and networked leaders of ideas, people, and reforms.

Who should attend

This training  of trainers is designed for the CEF tax coordinators, HR specialists, team leaders, and others interested in improving their learning and knowledge sharing skills.

Faculty

  • Tina Žagar

Tina supports the CEF’s efforts in helping SEE institutions develop their own knowledge-sharing capabilities and become knowledge hubs in their own right. She is interested in exploring ways of turning CEF knowledge sharing initiatives into unique, fresh, and sharp experiences with direct relevance and immediate practical application for public finance officials in South East Europe.

  • Maja Tomšič Pavlič

Maja is a member of the Program Team. She leads Tax and Revenue Collection program. She designs, coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates learning in that thematic area. She is interested in exploring ways of investing in knowledge management to strengthen and enhance the resilience of tax institutions. 

Practical information 

Travel, accommodation and hospitality costs for up to two selected participants from Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina (up to three), Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Georgia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Türkiye, and Ukraine will be covered by the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, the Ministry of Finance of the Slovakia, and Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia.
